Summer Learning Is Fun

Updated: Nov 20, 2021

Hello, families,

Summer is here! After a hectic year full of uncertainties, who doesn’t want to relax and enjoy the sun? While the kids have more time to play sports (hmm, video games included?), go to the beach, and hang around with friends, we suggest one more fun thing to do: summer learning.

Summer learning loss—students’ achievement scores decline over summer vacation—is a phenomenon that is well recognized by researchers. This is why it is important for students to engage in learning to maintain and improve their math and reading levels. Happy Homework Helpers is here to help. We are open for the summer. Please check out our schedule, or contact us if you desire one-on-one support.

BTW, the CT government initiated two summer learning opportunities. Check them out!
